I experienced a wonderful Stroll through Bethlehem in an interactive village setting at Indooroopilly Uniting Church last night. You are welcome to stroll through anytime between 6:30 pm to 8: 30pm on December 21st and December 22nd 2018.
We got counted in a census upon entry and were given money to spend on activities and getting keepsakes/ memorabilia. Kids got their names imprinted with a quill and some ink on a star that they wore with a thread around their necks.
We met potters (beautiful keepsakes at the pottery stand) and grain grinders in the marketplace. Small animals and baby Jesus made the experience extra special.
The hospitality you experience in the interactive village feels real and extremely welcoming. It’s a must-do if you have the time. I would highly recommend the experience to families with kids, although about anyone would enjoy it. My 7 year old daughter loved it and wants to go again!
I met a fabulous lady with whom I had a deep and meaningful conversation while enjoying some decaf coffee and cake. It felt like Christmas gifts were truly all around. My daughter patiently sat there colouring a drawing and doing word searches – there were ample activities to engage the kids. What a fabulous evening!!
